How we compete
Most checkouts don't need a guarantee. They need fewer typos.
Canada Post's AddressComplete and similar commercial services are built on licensed postal data and sold as premium, validated products, with pricing to match. That's the right choice when every address has to be certified. For many stores the problem is simpler: customers mistype their address and parcels come back.
DeliveryLocate takes the other approach. It makes a best-effort suggestion from open address data, your customer confirms it, and you pay less.

The lower price comes from being clear about what the service is: a convenience for your customers, not a guarantee.
What we do
- Suggest addresses from the data we have, ranked by how well they match what was typed.
- Say when a house number couldn't be confirmed.
- Keep the service fast, and fail quietly so checkout carries on if it isn't.
What stays with you
- Responsibility for errors and omissions. Suggestions can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and we don't guarantee that an address exists or is deliverable.
- Your customer confirming their own address before they order.
- A checkout that accepts addresses we don't know, such as new builds and rural routes, and checks addresses on your server as if autofill weren't there.
That's the trade: you keep the address checks you already have, and you pay less for the convenience.
